Graham’s London Marathon Update

Just a final update to say a big thank you, again, to everyone who has contributed to me reaching my target support of £2500 which will take place by the end of this week.

It was a very challenging Marathon day as every marathon is, in its own particular way. A late start from 10.50am on a very hot day but the crowds were very uplifting and encouraging along all the spectacular sights that London has to offer.

I finished strongly and have recovered really well completing a understandable later time of 5.51 mins. It was my 4th London and 17th marathon in total.

A friend shared a Bible verse from Isaiah 40 v 31 that as “I waited on the Lord my strength would be renewed as I ran and walked”.

Thank you Lord for such strength to complete the run. I pray that all the donations for Shelter will make a great difference to so many in all their varying needs.

Thanks again and may the ‘Lord bless you and keep you all’.

You can till visit my Enthuse page to donate and thank in advance for your kind and vital donations.
